If you are looking for a pretentious lawyer who wears $1,000 suits, and drives a Lexus, you are looking at the wrong guy. I was born in 1963 in Rochester to a blue collar family, who had to struggle to make the bills. I started working in my early teens as a dishwasher, graduated to a janitorial position, and eventually worked seven years as a laborer for a local construction company. I put myself through school, working simultaneous jobs as a farmhand, newspaper reporter, and librarian. I didn't have a dime to my name for most of my college and Law School years. I've run jackhammers, bobcats, forklifts, tractors and shoveled manure, poured concrete and laid bricks, mopped floors and cleaned toilets.

Why does this matter to you?

It doesn't, unless you want to talk to an attorney who completely understands what it's like to actually WORK for a living, and come home dirty, tired, and sore. Who understands what it's like to scrape by, and how frustrating it can be when the bills aren't being paid.
